Welcome. I am David Nelson and I am an old-school martial artist who has a passion for helping people tap into the power of the mind for:

• health and healing
• achieving peak performance
• weight loss
• realizing personal goals and dreams
• smoking cessation

I began my martial arts training in Goshindo Karate in 1969 and have sustained multiple injuries over my career. So, I figured, if I know how to break it, I better know how to fix it.

Earning a PhD in Natural Health I have been in the healing arts since 1980. As a Licensed Professional Counselor and Hypnotherapist, I specialize in helping people with a variety of physical, emotional and psychological suffering.

I have also studied a wide variety of martial arts including, Aikido, Tai Chi, and Kyokushin Karate, and spent eight years as a direct student of Zen Master Nonin Chowaney of the Nebraska Zen Center. Along with my professional credentials I am also a Reiki Master, EFT practitioner and Author.

I have also been honored with a Humanitarian Award from Master Gibbs of the Yudan Sila Bela Dira Academy Elite in October of 2011.

As well as writing books, I also write for  Tae Kwon Do Times magazine and have a personal blog, The Broken Bokken.
